Street Photography in India: Part 1

Street scene in Delhi, India

These photos are from a trip I took in 2008. I flew in and out of Delhi, and visited the Rajasthan area and Agra. I was in India for three weeks on my own. It started out as an exhilarating adventure. But after a week and a half of constant harassment and travel challenges, I just wanted to go home. As a result, I never did anything with the photos.

I recently had a client interested in purchasing a photo of mine that was taken in Japan. This, plus my trip out west, sparked a new interest in travels past, present, and future. Looking over these photos now, it’s as if I am seeing India for the first time. Even though my initial trip was challenging, these photos make me want to return.
